West Indies announced their team for the five-match T20 Series against India and Nicholas Pooran is also joining the team. The T20 Series will begin on 3 August during India’s West Indies tour. Team India’s T20 squad has been revealed.
West Indies, having learned from its mistakes in Test and ODI games, has assembled a strong squad this time. In an effort to take on India, they have selected several high-profile players.
West Indies recently won their second ODI match after suffering some losses in Test matches. After today’s third ODI, the focus will switch to the five-match T20 Series between the two teams. The West Indies team is now stronger than it was in Test and ODI games, thanks to the addition of five key players.
West Indies announced their 15-member team for the T20 Series on Tuesday. The good news is Nicholas Pooran made his comeback. Pooran had not played in the ODI Series.
Rovman Powell, the captain of the team, will be assisted by Kyle Mayers as a vice-captain. Shimron Holder, Odion, and Jason Holder are also included in the squad.
Nicholas Pooran scored 137 runs in 55 balls during the Major League Cricket final on the 30th of July. MI New York won the title with his outstanding performance that included 13 sixes.
The T20 series between West Indies & India will begin on 3rd August. The final two matches will be played in America.
India won the second test 1-0. The three-match ODI Series concludes today.
